The City of Modesto Parks, Recreation, & Neighborhoods is offering Rec Swim to help people cool off during the heat wave. Swimmers can enjoy pool time at various locations, including Johansen High School Pool on Norseman Drive, Davis High School Pool on W Rumble Road, and Graceada Park Pool on Needham Street.

The pools are open on different days and times, with Johansen High School Pool offering sessions Monday through Saturday from 1:00-4:00PM and also on Saturday from 5:00-7:00PM. Davis High School Pool is open Monday-Saturday from 1:00-4:00PM. Graceada Park Pool is open Monday-Friday from 1:00-4:00PM, and is specifically for swimmers 12 years and younger.

Admission to the pools is $2.00 per person, and proper swim attire is required for swimming. Loaner life jackets are available at all pool locations. It's a great way to beat the heat and have some fun in the water with family and friends. Stay cool in the pool and swim safely!
