The City of Modesto is participating in National Cleanup Day by hosting a local cleanup event on September 21. They are inviting individuals and groups to join in by providing materials and support for the effort. Participants can fill out a form online to request litter pickers, safety vests, trash bags, and gloves for their cleanup projects. After the cleanup is finished, the city will help by picking up and disposing of the filled trash bags. The event will take place from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm on September 21, 2024. Those interested can register online at MODESTOGOV.COM/409.
