The East Side Mosquito Abatement District will be performing aerial mosquito control applications over the East, Northeast, and Southwest communities of Modesto. The applications are scheduled for Saturday, August 31, 2024, between 9-11 PM, with a backup plan for Sunday, September 1, 2024, during the same time frame in case of inclement weather. The City of Modesto is informing residents of these areas about the upcoming aerial applications, which are decided by the East Side Mosquito Abatement District and not the city itself.
