Staff Report / Modestolocal.org

El Vista Elementary in Modesto has officially opened its new multipurpose room and cafeteria, a new front office, an outdoor shade structure, and a new basketball court and play area. The opening was marked by a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by members of the Modesto City Schools Board of Education, district leaders, and students.

The improvements were made possible through community support of Measures D and E, which funded the project. The school expressed gratitude to the Modesto community for their support. School officials are optimistic about how the new facilities will benefit students in their learning and recreational activities.
