Exhibition Highlights California Voting History and Engagement

The Modesto Art Museum and McHenry Museum have collaborated to present a new exhibition titled "California Votes: Exercise Your Rights!" This bilingual exhibit focuses on the history of voting in a nonpartisan manner. Its goal is to encourage political engagement and clarify voting terms and processes.

An opening celebration for the exhibit is scheduled for Sunday, September 29, 2024, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the McHenry Museum. The exhibition will be available for viewing until November 10, 2024.

The McHenry Museum operates on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM. The exhibition initially began at the San Joaquin County Historical Society and Museum under the title "San Joaquin Votes: Exercise Your Right!" and is traveling through Exhibit Envoy.
