Mosquito Control Scheduled for Modesto Areas October 3

Staff Report / Modestolocal.org

The East Side Mosquito Abatement District has announced that aerial mosquito control applications are scheduled for rural West Modesto and Southwest Modesto on Thursday, October 3, 2024, from 8:30 to 10:30 PM. If weather conditions do not permit the application on that date, it will be rescheduled for Friday, October 4, 2024, during the same time frame.

The City of Modesto is informing residents in these areas about the planned applications. It is important to note that the decision to carry out these aerial treatments is made by the East Side Mosquito Abatement District, not by the City of Modesto.

Residents can find more information and view a map of the upcoming aerial application by visiting the East Side Mosquito Abatement District's website at https://www.eastsidemosquito.com/news-releases.
