**Modesto Community Workshop to Discuss Future Vision for 2050**
Modesto, CA - A community workshop focused on the future of Modesto is scheduled for October 10, 2024, from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the West Modesto Community Collaborative, located at 601 S Martin Luther King Dr. This event is specifically aimed at the residents of District 2.
The workshop will provide an opportunity for attendees to share their ideas and vision for what Modesto should look like in 2050. The initiative, known as "Modesto 2050," aims to gather community input to shape the city's long-term development plans.
Modesto was founded in 1870 as a Central Pacific rail line stop and has undergone significant changes over the past 154 years. The city is looking to further develop over the next 25 years and beyond, and community participation is encouraged to ensure that the voices of residents are heard.
