Great ShakeOut Earthquake Drill on October 17!

The City of Modesto and Stanislaus County will host the Great ShakeOut Earthquake Drill on October 17, 2024, at 10:17 AM. Participants are encouraged to register at ShakeOut.org.
The event aims to promote earthquake safety and preparedness. Residents are reminded to follow the key safety actions: DROP, COVER, and HOLD ON during the drill.
For additional information and personal safety drills that can be practiced at home, residents can visit https://www.shakeout.org/. Practicing these safety drills is designed to help individuals respond effectively during an actual earthquake, potentially reducing injuries.
