Marion County Courts Announce New Year's Closures

Staff Report /

**Marion County Courts Announce Holiday Closures**

Marion County courts will be closed on Tuesday, December 31, 2024, and Wednesday, January 1, 2025, according to the Indianapolis Bar Association. This decision comes by order of the Circuit Court Judge in observance of New Year's Eve and New Year's Day.

The Community Justice Campus, which houses various court functions, will not operate during these two days. However, essential services such as the Juvenile Detention Center, the Initial Hearing Court, and Juvenile Probation Intake (RSR) will remain open and functioning as normal.

This announcement informs residents of the adjusted schedule and ensures that critical services for juveniles will not be disrupted during the holiday period.
