**Syracuse Man Arrested Following Larceny Incident in Town of Sennett**

**Cayuga County, NY** – On December 23, 2024, at approximately 4:37 PM, members of the Cayuga County Sheriff’s Office, alongside the New York State Police, responded to a reported larceny at Tractor Supply in the Town of Sennett.

During the course of their investigation, law enforcement encountered a suspect identified as Eric T. Anderson, a 35-year-old from Syracuse, NY. According to Sheriff Brian Schenck, Anderson deliberately provided a false identity to a Deputy in an attempt to conceal an outstanding warrant in another jurisdiction.

Anderson was subsequently taken into custody for False Personation under New York State Penal Law 190.23. He was transported to the Public Safety Building for processing. Afterward, Anderson was issued an appearance ticket, requiring him to appear at Sennett Town Court on January 8, 2025, at 5:00 PM. Following the Sheriff’s Office arrest, Anderson was turned over to the New York State Police to continue their investigation related to the larceny.
