Coburn Place: Transforming Lives Through Support Services
Staff Report /
**Spotlight on Coburn Place: Empowering Lives Through Comprehensive Support**
Indianapolis, Indiana — Coburn Place has been making a significant impact in the Indianapolis community by providing housing and essential support services to individuals and families in need. Since its founding, the organization has assisted over 2,987 adults and children, helping them transition into safe, sustainable housing and build healthier, impactful lives.
In a highlight shared by Celeste Evers, Vice President of Mission and Impact, the transformative work of Coburn Place was exemplified through the story of a resident who rebuilt her life after years of enduring challenging circumstances. “She had been in what we call fight or flight for many months and many years,” Evers shared. “When she got into our building, she took advantage of all of our programs. She was able to get her life back … go back to school, reconnect with her children, and move forward.”
Coburn Place provides a variety of programs to support residents, focusing on helping them harness their inner resilience. Thanks to the dedicated staff and support from community partners, these programs provide residents with the resources and encouragement they need to achieve long-lasting stability.
For more information about Coburn Place, as well as how to get involved through volunteer or donor opportunities, visit their website at [Coburn Place's Official Website](https://coburnplace.org/).
This initiative is part of the ongoing efforts by organizations like Coburn Place to promote housing equity and better the lives of those in Marion County and beyond.
