**Local Students Honored for Positive Actions Through "Do the Right Thing" Program**

North Port, FL — The North Port Police Department, in collaboration with the North Port Early Bird Kiwanis and Sarasota County Schools Police Department, is spotlighting local students for their exemplary positive actions as part of the "Do the Right Thing" program. This initiative aims to celebrate students who make a difference in their community and serve as role models.

Families and community members are encouraged to nominate students deserving of this honor. Nominations can be submitted online at [www.northportfl.gov/dotherightthing](http://www.northportfl.gov/dotherightthing) or provided to school resource officers.

The program highlights the importance of fostering positive behavior and leadership among young individuals. Congratulations go out to the students and their families for their inspiring contributions.
