The City of Modesto Parks, Recreation, & Neighborhoods in Modesto, California, is offering summer swim lessons to promote water safety and reduce the risk of drowning. Lessons are available in the morning, afternoon, and evening with varying class times and levels by location. Three sessions will be held this summer: June 17-27, July 8-18, and July 22-August 1.

Group lessons cost $40 per session for 8 classes, while private lessons are $160 per session for 8 classes. Additionally, there is a Leisure Bucks program where qualifying individuals could receive $100 or $200 towards recreation programs in the Summer Activity Guide.

Registration can be completed online at www.modestogov.com/2268 or in-person at the Recreation office located at 1010 10th Street, 4th floor, downtown Modesto. Office hours are Monday-Friday, 8:30AM to 4:30PM, closed 12:00PM to 1:00PM daily. For questions, contact Customer Service at (209)577-5344.
