Modesto City Schools recently held its annual Bus Tour to showcase school sites to Board of Education members, local officials, and community leaders. The tour visited seven schools, including Fremont Elementary, Garrison Elementary, Johansen High School, Tuolumne TK-8 School, El Vista Elementary, Marshall Elementary, and Mark Twain Junior High.

Some schools have undergone significant upgrades, while others still require repairs to provide students with optimal learning environments. Upgrades include new administrative offices, cafeterias, multipurpose rooms, advanced science labs, and innovative STEAM-based classrooms to better cater to students' diverse learning needs.

The support from the community has been instrumental in making these facility improvements possible. Modesto City Schools expressed gratitude to the community for investing in students and contributing to the shaping of the future of the community.
