Today at 11:28 a.m., officers from the Modesto Police Department responded to a fatal traffic collision on E. Briggsmore Ave. The incident involved a black 1994 Chevrolet Z28 Camaro that was traveling eastbound and veered off the road, hitting a tree. The driver, a Modesto resident, was ejected from the vehicle and tragically died at the scene.
