The City of Ocala and Green For Life (GFL) will hold a special waste amnesty day on Saturday, September 14th from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. The event will take place at NE 14th Street and NE Eighth Avenue. Special waste such as household hazardous waste and electronics will be accepted. Regular trash collection does not include these items.

Accepted items include lawn and garden chemicals, paint, cleaning fluids, fluorescent bulbs, used oil and batteries, cell phones, computers, TVs, gaming consoles, and more. Residents can drop off these items at the designated collection site on September 14th.
