**Modesto Fire Department Launches Fire Safety Awareness Initiative for Schools**

In recognition of Fire Prevention Month this October, the Modesto Fire Department has introduced a new program aimed at increasing fire safety awareness among young students. Schools have the opportunity to schedule visits from fire crews, who will provide engaging and informative presentations for children in transitional kindergarten through 3rd grade.

This initiative is designed to educate and inform students about fire safety practices in a fun and interactive manner. Schools interested in participating can learn more by visiting the Modesto Fire Department's website at www.modestofire.com or by calling 209-572-5950.
