Proclamation Declares Water Appreciation Week and Event

At the City Council meeting in Modesto, California, a proclamation was made declaring October 5th to 13th as California Water Professionals Appreciation Week. Additionally, October 17th has been designated as a Day without Water. Nick Terpstra, the Utilities Plant Operations Supervisor for the City of Modesto, received the proclamation.
The Water team is inviting the community to participate in the "Imagine a Day Without Water" event on October 17, 2024. This event will take place in front of City Hall at 1010 10th Street from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
