Great Shakeout Drills in Modesto This October!

In Modesto, California, the Modesto Fire Department is preparing for the Great California Shakeout. Fire crews will be conducting drills in fire stations on Thursday, October 17th, as part of the nationwide earthquake preparedness event.
Residents are encouraged to visit WWW.SHAKEOUT.ORG for information on earthquake drills that can be performed at home to improve readiness in case of an earthquake. The event serves to raise awareness about earthquake safety and preparedness.
