Esmeralda Recognized for Exceptional Character and Dedication

The Board of Education recognized Mark Twain Junior High student Esmeralda for her exceptional character traits, including compassion, initiative, perseverance, and respect. Esmeralda has distinguished herself by assisting new Spanish-speaking students with translations while maintaining her own academic responsibilities.

Her proactive approach is evident in her thoughtful questions and her ability to address challenging problems. Esmeralda was nominated for this honor by her English Language Arts and AVID teacher, Ms. Arnold-Brownlee. Ms. Arnold-Brownlee expressed her delight in nominating Esmeralda, highlighting her dedication to her peers and her responsibilities.

This recognition serves to acknowledge Esmeralda's inspiring contributions to her school community. Congratulations to Esmeralda for this achievement!
