Outstanding Students Recognized at Modesto Board Meeting

The Modesto City Schools Board of Education held a recent meeting where students from Enslen Elementary School led the Pledge of Allegiance.
Fifth grader Henry was recognized for his exemplary contributions to the school. He is the Vice President of the Student Council and a member of the Traffic Patrol Team. Henry is known for his positive attitude, willingness to help others, and his enthusiasm for school. Outside of academics, he enjoys playing sports and fishing. After high school, Henry aims to become a professional athlete or an engineer.
Sixth grader Charlie also received recognition for her efforts at Enslen. She is noted for her friendliness, dependability, and leadership as one of the captains of the Traffic Patrol Team. Charlie assists in the school office and maintains a positive demeanor. In her free time, she enjoys playing soccer and skiing. After high school, Charlie plans to attend Westmont College to study veterinary medicine.
These students exemplify the values of the Modesto City Schools community, where "Every Student Matters, Every Minute Counts."
