Retired Firefighter Honors Palm Springs Police Department

Staff Report / PalmSpringslocal.org

The Palm Springs Police Department has expressed gratitude to William Miller, a retired firefighter from Modesto, for his recent thoughtful gesture. Miller handcrafted a custom flag to honor the men and women of the Palm Springs Police Department.

Miller, who met the police chief during his time in Santa Cruz, was inspired to create the flag after relocating to the Coachella Valley. He wanted to express his appreciation for the dedication and service of the officers.

The police department acknowledged that Miller's gift is a meaningful tribute that reinforces the connection between those who serve their communities.
